Love this lightweight, comfortable backpack for hitting the trails and running errands! Lots of interior space, easy storage around the waist, and not bulky!
Got to try mine out a few times before the lockdowns!
it's the ideal size - great to carry all the essential work kit - one 12 inch laptop, shirt, trousers, small towel, shower gel, phone, and various laptop/phone chargers. I've downsized a lot of my regular kit, such as using a GaN PD usb C charger, and limiting cables, and it's just perfect for the job.
I thought the laptop might bump around, but the bag supports it well, close to the back, held in place well by the clothes. It wouldn't work well if the bag was empty though, so be aware if you're just planning to carry a laptop without anything else. The elastic strap on the back was good for carrying a light jacket, I've not trusted it yet with carrying shoes on a longer run.
The bag coped well on 13 mile commutes to work, found that I did get some rubbing on my back at first, but there's plenty of adjustment and it was fine once adjusted. It's tempting to carry too much weight - I've pushed it over 5kg, think a laptop, plus clothes and kit, which started to get a little uncomfortable after 10 miles. Careful selection of kit to limit it to 4kg worked better for me. Clothes still looked fairly fresh after being in the bag overnight too (any wrinkles dropped out in the steam from the shower).
Minor irritations - the orange elastic strap has frayed at the end, and looks a little messy. It's a little tricky to get the laptop out of the bag discretely, such as when sitting on a busy train - as you kinda need to open it completely.
Nice things - The front pockets were ideal sized for two phones, a torch, gloves, with a jacket on the back - so good for winter commuting. It coped with light rain brilliantly without a need for a cover. And there are a few helpful straps/mounting points to attach lights if required in the winter.
It's a great bag. Run commuting is the best way to start the day.
